New bike has arrived!

This is excellent news for me, as my original 'imitation' downhill bike was definitely too heavy for the amount of uphill I do living in a valley. It has retired to the garage for the forseeable future, with 8 years use, and over 600 miles clocked up in the last 3 years

My new Diamondback Outlook FS arrived on Saturday, and I took it for it's maiden run up into Werneth Low.

And I crashed it.

Really. Werneth Low country park has some of my blood splattered near the visitors centre. If it's still there tomorrow morning, I might take a photo of it. Thankfully, the bike was unharmed, but I came away with a twisted shoulder and a few grazes and bruises.

Didn't stop me going back this morning though.
Hello chaps and lady chaps of the internets!

This is a blog post!

Congratulations!

I will fill this space weekly (though sometimes you may get treated to bi-weekly!) with stuff that enters my head and is probably not appropriate Facebook material.

The first of these is coming up. Wait for it... Waaaaaaaiiiit for iiiiiit....
